You can't fix stupid. Time to find yourself a new paradigm. Join JEXIT, JRC, or at least find some like-minded friends. We need you.

I don’t think I can join anything except for the tribe! I’m just not a joiner. Hence, the tombstone epigraph!

I think she signed the boycott petition too. So many authors to despise now. I’m currently hating on Junot Diaz who hosts & posts virulent antisemitism on his public facebook page

Progressives are the fellow travelers of the Free Palestine cult. Not surprised that progressive Jews were abandoned by their alleged friends and allies, left with the option of either giving them the middle finger and leaving to saner less immoral and vile social groups, or tightening those keffiyehs around themselves and becoming pathetic token Jews for the people championing a genocide and ethnic cleansing of 7.7 million Jews from the land of Israel.

I’ve cut ties with those who can’t give up supporting Nazis and Islamist terrorists.

Thank you. I did not read the whole piece but in the section I read I agree with so much of what you say. It’s a sad time for Jewish liberals. We’ve had a really rude awakening.

I find myself quoting things that my conservative grandmother used to say. Even occasionally agreeing with the perspective of my Republican mother (with whom we used to ALWAYS fight about politics…now we have points of political connection.)

I will admit that I didn’t really see too many of the faults in the far left until October 7. It seems that you had noticed some trends long before then that I just didn’t pick up on.

For me, it was a really rude awakening. Now I can’t help but look at people who I used to respect and think that they’re idiots. That they lack the ability to hold complicated ideologies in their brain. That they’re just going to act like lemmings without actually doing any research to understand the issues.

You speak here to many things that I have been thinking for quite awhile. Including my most recent consideration about perhaps re-registering as an independent.
